Jayden Daniels injury update: Brian Kelly provides latest on LSU's star QB
LSU head coach Brian Kelly gave an update on quarterback Jayden Daniels’ injury status in his Monday press conference, saying that Daniels was still in a walking boot after he sustained an ankle injury recently this season.
Kelly said Daniels has a minor test tomorrow to test the strength of his ankle before LSU practices, but there’s not much of a substantial update.
Based on the Sunday report, there was plenty of optimism that Daniels would be able to participate in practice on Tuesday with the SEC Championship Game matchup against Georgia on the horizon.
Injury updates:
Jayden Daniels is in a boot today and his exam went well today. They are optimistic he can practice Tuesday. Wasn't a high ankle sprain, which is key.
Says #LSU was conservative with Josh Williams to get him 100 percent. He should be good to go Saturday.
