Mississippi State kicker Westin Graves apologizes to fans after missed kick
Mississippi State kicker Westin Graves apologized to Bulldogs fans after missing a potential game-winning kick during his team’s 21-20 loss to South Alabama.
Bulldog fans, I'm truly sorry for letting you down. I will do everything possible to come back stronger from this. Hailstate and God bless.

Graves missed a 28-yard field goal attempt with six seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. But the junior kicker shouldn’t be the only one blamed for Saturday’s loss.
Mississippi State blew a 17-0 halftime lead before setting up for the field goal. For the record, South Alabama was a 28-point underdog entering Saturday’s game.
