Mississippi State unveils blackout jerseys for this week's game vs. Kentucky
Mississippi State is holding a blackout this week in Starkville for its game against Kentucky. The team tweeted out a picture of them this afternoon.
This is the fourth time that the Bulldogs have worn black jerseys under coach Dan Mullen, who’s 1-2 in the previous three games wearing the alternate color, including an 0-2 mark in SEC play. Mississippi State lost 29-7 against LSU in 2010 and 31-3 to Alabama in 2009.
The school’s only win came in 2011, the last time MSU wore black in Davis Wade Stadium, when Hail State beat Louisiana Tech 26-20 in overtime.
