Warren McClendon opens up about fatal crash that killed Devin Willock and Chandler LeCroy

Warren McClendon was a passenger during a fatal car crash the night of Georgia’s national title celebration earlier this month.

The crash killed teammate Devin Willock and football staffer Chandler LeCroy and injured another Georgia staff member.

At the Senior Bowl, McClendon opened up about the wreck, saying he doesn’t remember much as he was knocked out when it happened (via DawgNation):

“I’m just taking it day by day,” McClendon said. “Some days it’s tough, some days it’s easier, but I’m taking it day by day.

“When the wreck happened, I kind of got knocked out,” McClendon said, “so I really don’t remember too much.”

McClendon is wearing the No. 77 jersey this week at the Senior Bowl to honor Willock.

    • Back to back Georgia buffoon …

Isn’t it interesting that Negan’s Georgia’s QB just got arrested and put in the slammer…

      What an outstanding knucklehead…

      Great example for young kids…

      Negan… the buffoon.

      lol!

  • I think his recollection of the events before they even hit the road at whatever time that was would be much more compelling…
