I agree that the whining needs to stop. It is much easier just to throw beer on the LSU band. Not sure how mine tasted because it was also half a can of 2 hour old dip spit. I presume it will wash off the band uniform but it may be hard to get out of the tuba. The only thing that was more of a trip than that was watching the LSP trip over each other trying to enter the crowd to do something about it. In two years we will all move more creative ways to show our displeasure (if that side show even bothers to come back)

I wanted, so badly, to watch this game… but the broadcast is hideously terrible. I thought missing the opening kickoff was strange, but it never improved. I think they have two camera angles and the commentary is unintelligible because of the volume of the field microphone. I don’t understand how this happens. If I was OU and Texas, I’d be wondering if the move is worth it. The broadcast is THAT worthless. I made it about 5 minutes before I realized that Jeopardy was far more entertaining. Thanks for the update, though!

Auburn’s 8 point win over A&M looks fairly weak. They had every conceivable break against a Miss St team that lost at home to Kansas State. They caught Oregon on a “gimme” opening weekend game.
