Related, will the line stay healthy. 4. Linebacker depth 5. Will the team be decimated by injuries for the third consecutive year The defensive backfield should be a strength again. The defensive line should be strong with a year's experience under the freshmen's belts. The running back room is strong. People really underestimate Daniels. His running style is similar to Achane. Tight end will be a strength this year. Special teams should be solid, with good punters and kickers. Several top notch receivers return. Smith coming back for one more year would be a boost. However, depth is a concern here.

Hope he gets back on track this year and is free of the injuries that have hampered him.

The conflict potential between Fisher and the OC would be present with any decent OC. Given the doubts surrounding Fisher truly giving up the reins, this may be the best he could do.

Probably the best Fisher could do, as many candidates would doubt Fisher's willingness to truly hand over the reins. Maybe Petrino will be strong willed enough to seize the reins.
