I added a little celery to the onions, used 2c water and two small jars of clam juice, a little flour and 1/2 and half. I wish I would have seasoned the cod itself better, but I will use this recipe again. It was delicious!

Had this for supper tonight. It was soooo good. I used haddock. Was a good price at the store for chowder pieces. I also did add a little bit of flour. I have to have a recipe to cook by and this recipe was really easy to follow. Thank you!

Joyce, I am so happy you enjoyed the chowder. Unfortunately, soups that contain milk or cream don’t hold up well in the freezer — they tend to take on a grainy texture and separate when defrosted and rewarmed.
