Ole Miss expected to hire Western Kentucky CB coach to same position

Lane Kiffin is expected to hire a familiar face to be the Ole Miss’ next cornerbacks coach, with reports pointing to former Western Kentucky CB coach Keynodo Hudson heading to Oxford for the 2023 season.

Hudson worked under Kiffin as a defensive assistant during his short stint as USC’s head coach. He followed Kiffin to FAU in 2017, left for Illinois in the same position in 2019 and finally ended up at Western Kentucky in 2021. There, he led the Hilltoppers secondary to a No. 1 rank in total interceptions in 2021 across Conference USA.

Hudson will be replacing Sam Carter, who was hired to the same position at Purdue under new HC Ryan Walters.

Ole Miss recently hired Wes Neighbors as its new safeties coach last week.

  • only pathetic MS State fans read Ole Miss stories nonstop bc their school is so pathetic. You were behaving so well for a little while…

    • Hate to break it to you but that doesn't hurt my feelings. I'm not too interested in the approval of an Old Mess fan.

I keep up with my rival school because I care about football. Plus, I get the added entertainment of reading comments from the less intelligent among us, such as yourself.

  • I don’t care about your feelings. Really sad but completely understand your need to follow a real Mississippi, nationally acclaimed university. However your continuous posting of negative, needless, and derogatory posts shows your lack of maturity and intelligence. Hotty Toddy!

    • Your account is here is what's needless. Very little of what you say has much bearing on reality, including that comment.

It's funny how delusional you are, you think my corrections of your false assertions is derogatory. Poor lil ole miss snowflake.
