Thank you Bob for today’s completely useless fact of the day. Now run along.
My acting like an idiot ended by age 19, not 25. And it didn’t end in jail either
Boosters don’t pay to get professors. They pay to win football games. I would say very few coaches get paid by the universities. Most are paid through booster organizations.
She is 17 now. They lived together in Mississippi and in Alabama. Hmmm. Just sayin.
The ESPN guy has a serious Bowers crush going on. Good player but best?
Calling Rashada a blue chipper is being generous
I’m more likely to believe that than Kelly is looking at his checking account to see how much money he has in his in there.
Well if I was a betting man I would put money on Bama having a lower ranking offense in the coming year than any year BoB was there.
I just never understood why Bama fans didn’t like BoB. Led a top 5 offense. Don’t be surprised if they take a step back.
Legit argument but Burrow and Bengals are 2-0 against Mahomes and Chiefs. If Mahomes on one leg can beat them this week we can revisit.
Wait until the Title IX sports start crying for their piece of the pie. All of the NIL money is coming from private sector. Not sure if they are going to like the answer
I was really hoping for a special teams hire when I saw this
I find myself wondering if he is related to the infamous Fred and Ethel. Fred looked like more of the hand on the ground body type.
I can see why he didn’t pick LSU. And I’m ok with it. We are one year away from stinkin up the place.
All we know is Rashada signed a NLI and now UF has released him. Nobody knows who said what, who offered what, who boogered the deal. Hope this kid doesn’t end up on Last Chance U.
You must be kidding. I agree with you about not releasing him but UF should be very concerned. If the kid goes out on social media and tells everyone don’t sign with UF because they don’t stand behind their deals it could very well hurt future recruiting. If it is Rashada that boogered the deal UF needs to be shouting that too. Welcome to the real world kids.
First there is no tax exemption for giving to a NIL collective. I can’t see that there is even a write off to give to a NIL collective. There was a tax advantage to donating to the school but even then it is questionable.
I really believe Howard is a stud. He was a better QB than Manning. Broke his leg halfway through his senior year so he really wasn’t healed enough to compete for the job in the spring. WRs at LSU said he could really throw it too.
Hmmm. Really wish they had just given us a good look at them.
Don’t you know there is a coach up there somewhere kicking himself saying “how blind could I be?”.
Alabama fans rejoice but I’m not sure why. Bama had the 4th or 5th ranked scoring offense last year. With questionable OL and WR.
This is all we know. The kid signed and submitted and UF accepted a NLI. Not one other thing do we know for sure. We don’t know who backed out of the NIL agreement, how much it was for, if any school has tampered, if UF or CBN were involved in the NIL offer or refusal. Every thing is just speculation. Stay tuned. We will eventually. Maybe
I bet you could ask any QB in the CHOF if they would trade their seat in the hall for 2 Natty’s and MVP they would trade in a heartbeat.
While I kind of agree with you and don’t watch many bowl games, the TV numbers seem to show we may be wrong. People do watch on TV. I thought playoffs would go to 16 teams and that could give you 15 bowl games.
Also just kicking him off the team. No “ let the legal process play out” statement. Must have reason to believe there is no reasonable doubt.
Number 1, I don’t assume nor believe that the GOAT has lost his championship mojo. He was 2 last plays of the game from being undefeated and playing for the SEC championship and playoffs. Number 2, the final play against LSU was not a pick play. The corner covering the TE just played too far back and was a step or 2 from getting there. QB threw to the perfect spot at the perfect time.
He threw to any receiver that would catch balls, 1s included. He threw all spring and summer to the receivers. He threw before during and after practice. Surely you don’t think the only time he throws a football is during practice. And, I don’t care what you believe.
I think this article is a huge overreaction. What difference does it make if you aren’t #1? He gave Georgia their due. After that first loser is the same as all the rest. You don’t hear fans chanting “we’re #2, we’re #2”.
