Kam Pringle, elite 2024 lineman, announces SEC commitment

Kam Pringle is staying home. The elite offensive tackle out of Dorchester in Woodland, South Carolina announced his commitment to Shane Beamer’s program on Sunday.

Pringle, a top-50 prospect in the Class of 2024, chose South Carolina over 20 other scholarship offers. He named Clemson, Florida, Georgia, NC State and Tennessee as his other finalists.

Pringle is listed at 6-7, 338 pounds. On the 247Sports composite rankings, Pringle is rated 4-stars, the No. 1 offensive tackle, No. 1 Palmetto State recruit and No. 46 prospect overall in the 2024 recruiting class. Certainly an NIL deal is in Pringle’s future.

Beamer quickly took to Twitter to share his excitement about Pringle’s commitment.

With Pringle on board, South Carolina now has 2 commitments in its 2024 recruiting class. In July 2022, the Gamecocks landed a pledge from 4-star QB Dante Reno.

  • That’s a very solid start for Beamer. If you want to be successful, you have to lockdown the best in state players.

  • This is a huge pickup. May not get all the attention that the skilled position guys do. But a lot of games are win when you can land elite linemen like this.

  • >out of Dorchester in Woodland, South Carolina<

I know it's being picky... but...

It's "out of Woodland High School in Dorchester, SC"...

I don't know where Woodland SC is... or if there even is such a place...

  • Great get for Beamer and the Gamecocks

Even if we have go against him every year I’d rather see him at USCar than Clemons
