So, the update from fans sitting in the area was that the sign was large enough to obstruct the vision of others and being held up so that it did obstruct. He was, by their reports, asked a number of times to hold it low enough to not obstruct the view of others. After refusing to do so he was escorted out. Still not a good look, but a better explanation.
I was at Pitino's first game back in Rupp once he was coaching UofL. There were LOTS of signs throughout the arena. Even the guy with the "Joanne, we never liked you either" sign didn't get booted. Tonight is a bad look for UK.
His starting lineup guaranteed this start to the game.
Lincoln Riley can't even make it work against former SEC schools.
Isn't Purdue's former coach, the one who developed this team, now going to be UofL's coach? Wonder how Card fans are feeling about their prospects now.
At midnight the crystal football dropped, and Ohio State turned into a pumpkin
I fully concur. Far closer game than the score showed. Connect on a couple deep balls, avoid mistakes, and the result flips. Next year looks promising.
Not sure why it would be unbelievable. Mizzou can, and likely will, continue its statement-making quest on Wednesday against Kentucky
Black in mourning that Cal is staying, or that he's going? It's confusing.
"Tweaking"... H2G... Check out the Mark Story article in the HL recommending football, BBM & BBW all hire offensive coordinators.
He has no concept of how much damage his tenure has inflicted upon the brand.
There actually wasn't a motorcycle involved in his injuries.
Iowa will be down to QB3. One would hope that this would be a game here for UK's taking. Who the OC will be, what happens to the O-line coaching will be key. What happens in the hiring of a FULL TIME, PERMANENT special teams coach, and RB coach will be of great interest to recruits. Looks like Mitch refused the Las Vegas bowl to not hinder recruiting timetable and to iron our coaching hires.
What the heck?? Pass. Now I won't blame Levis for skipping the bowl. Can't believe I'm saying this, but on to basketball season, and watching the simultaneous game against Sore Lose rville.
I don't see him not finishing what he's started. Another opportunity to show his stuff should only help, after the injury riddled season.
Scangarello who was over the offense, as well as the offensive line, is the reason that Levis was injured so badly at Ole Miss. Levis is very tough, and as such, has never had an internal clock in his head for getting rid of the ball. He looked good against UofL because he played quick release plays, run -set up plays, and, for the first time, played with a clock in his head. He should've installed the clock in his QBs head during preseason practice, or at least by the third game of the year, not the last. Had Levis not been severely hobbled this might easily have been a 10 win year for UK. Scangarello's inability to grasp the obvious is what doomed him. Obvious that Levis needed quick timing routes, a mobile pocket, and a clock in his head. Obvious that his plays, while occasionally beautifully executed early in the season, were not a fit for personnel, and Scangarello failed to adapt.
