Ethan White, former Florida OL, announces Pac-12 transfer destination
Ethan White entered the transfer portal nearly a month ago, and the former Florida offensive lineman has found a new destination.
White, who played left guard for the Gators, announced that he would commit to Southern Cal. He started all 13 games last season, and anchored an offensive line that limited opponents to 1.3 sacks per game.
White was a standout for Florida and will be remembered in part for not allowing a single sack across his 13 appearances.
He also earned AP All-SEC Second-Team recognition and an “above average” run-blocking grade of 67.4 (out of 100) from PFF. It will be interesting to see where he lands next.

White arrived at Florida as a 3-star recruit and appeared in 6 games his freshman year. An injury ended his 2020 season, and he was also injured in 2021, but started 7 of the 8 games he appeared in.
Well that ends that discussion, don’t it just?
USC has set the going rate for average SEC OLs. Tarquin and White weren’t particularly spectacular, yet they crossed the continent to sign with the Trojans.
Good luck to both of them there.
They both got their desired NIL deals from USC. And they both are pretty good players.
…but both were replaced at OT and OG with better players from the portal.
I agree Nature.
At least they’ll have each other when navigating a very different environment. It’ll be interesting to see how they fare at USC.
