Ole Miss earned a late commitment in the class of 2023 on Tuesday morning.

The Rebels added 3-star EDGE Chamberlain Campbell to their incoming recruiting class. Campbell also had offers from programs like Auburn, Missouri and Miami.

Campbell attends Lakewood High School in St. Petersburg, Florida. He’s listed at 6-foot-6, 210 pounds.

He’s a big-time addition for Ole Miss and new defensive coordinator Pete Golding. Campbell is ranked as the No. 85 EDGE prospect in the country, per 247Sports rankings.

Campbell is the 1st defensive player in the class of 2023 to commit to Ole Miss since Golding took over as DC. Golding acknowledged his commitment:

Ole Miss is now up to 14 commitments from the high school ranks in the class of 2023. The group ranks No. 33 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings. The Rebels have also added 13 transfers so far this offseason.

Campbell will be able to officially sign with Ole Miss on Wednesday.
