Mizzou hoops is gearing up for the SEC/Big 12 Challenge and a matchup against previous longtime rival Iowa State. The Tigers will also be donning a throwback uniform combination when hosting the Cyclones.

On Wednesday, Missouri unveiled a glimpse at the uniforms to be worn on Saturday. The throwback look incorporates a gold stripe inside a pair of black stripes on the collar, shoulders and waistband of the shorts. The classic Block M in gold starts “Missouri” on the front of the uniform with a tiger paw also adorning the shorts.

The look has generated an overwhelmingly positive reaction on social media with many fans calling for the look to be added to the permanent rotation. Check out the combination:

The two sides have met 236 times on the court with Missouri leading the all-time series 150-86. Iowa State has won 2 straight in the series with the Cyclones beating Missouri 67-50 last season in Ames, Iowa.
