Why Liam Coen came back to Lexington to fix the Kentucky offense after ‘it didn’t work out’ with the Rams
I have been looking forward to the UGA game every year since 2018. Not so much before, though.
A significant improvement over last year.
I think AR will do fine in the league. Just needs more consistency in his topside. They can teach him that.
Football or basketball? LOLOL
I agree with you both. It remains to be seen whether he is deserving of an early first round pick. Wouldn’t surprise me if he has a very successful NFL career.
I agree. Assuming that Coen comes back, and assuming that he stays for a few years, we'll probably get the attention of some better QB prospects. However, I thought Destin looked pretty good (all things considered) in the Iowa game.
That's what I though mrtruth. Pretty good one, too. Some folks don't pay attention and the 'inner troll' comes out. Good luck to the Gators next year.
Maybe we have been trying too hard to keep the Schlarmann identity going. May be time for a "Yenser" identity. The O-line coach needs to have his own thing going. I think Yenser will be fine at that position.
Yep...surprised me, too. He always seemed really happy to be here and committed to the program. Big loss, but we have some dudes ready to step in. But I hope he changes his mind and stays put.
I think that (maybe) to get the Wade twins, Stoops promised Destin that he would have a chance to play QB. He got that chance yesterday, and now he knows more about the position in the SEC and probably has a better understanding of where he stands in his development at this point. He didn’t look that great against one of the best defenses in the country, but he might be fine with another year of development. Not too many true freshmen QBs would have looked good against Iowa yesterday.
On the other hand, opt outs give the up-and-comers a chance to get some really good experience in preparation for the next season.
Good luck Jacquez…better than a late round pick, in my opinion.
Good luck to Keidron. I hope he gets drafted.
Well…I almost got it backwards.
Bold prediction #2: This will be one of the more interesting bowl games to watch (other than the playoff games) and not only for the fans of UK and Iowa.
Bold prediction #1: (posted earlier on another article) UK scores 24+ and wins by double digits.
On the other hand, if we get two consecutive QBs drafted, the media hype might help our recruiting efforts. Leary looks pretty good and I really hope he does well in the SEC. He has quite a bit of experience vs. some pretty good teams.
I hope he makes an NFL roster. I can see him succeeding there.
Watch his highlights (YouTube) vs. Clemson. He scrambles pretty well when pressured.
We are doing well today…especially as regards the transfer portal.
Recruiting looking pretty good at this point. Those additions may bring in a couple more studs.
Deone reminds me a lot of some of UGA's better defensive linemen. Looking forward to seeing more of that 'kid.'
Yes indeed. Hail State and beat the Illini.
Good ole Cass Tech.
Really to sorry to hear this news. RIP Mike Leach.
..just not on a motorcycle.
I hate to hear this news. Hoping for a full recovery.
Did Odom leave Arkansas? If so, I must have missed the story.
He really flushed UofL down the toilet his last year - to get the buyout, I imagine. Completely abandoned the team mid season. They are still reeling from that, IMHO, but Brohm should have them back in a year or two.
