Mecole Hardman is active for the first time since Week 9 for Kansas City. The star former Georgia wide receiver was questionable to play against Cincinnati in the AFC Championship game, but will make his long awaited return from a pelvic injury he suffered against Tennessee.

Hardman scored Kansas City’s first touchdown in last year’s AFC Championship loss to the Bengals. Now, he’ll help try to get some revenge and return the Chiefs to the Super Bowl.

In addition to Hardman playing, star tight end Travis Kelce is expected to play while backup wide receiver Justin Watson will miss action.

Hardman was having a good season until his injury. The 4th-year player had just under 300 yards receiving and 4 touchdowns in 9 games, on pace for his average across his 3 prior years in the NFL.

The AFC Championship game is set for 6:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
