The transfer portal has claimed one of Missouri’s reserve defensive linemen.

Daniel Robledo, an Arizona native, announced on his Twitter account that he will enter the portal. He has 2 years of eligibility left.

“I want to thank the coaches who recruited me, Coach Cheese (former Tigers DB coach Charlie Harbinson) and Coach (Eli Drinkwitz) and this last season with [defensive line] Coach Al [Davis],” he wrote. “It was truly a blessing to be a part of the program at Mizzou, and I am thankful for the countless memories made with players and coaches! But I now feel that it is [in] the best interest for me to find a new home.”

Robledo struggled to find playing time in Columbia as he appeared in just 4 games in 2022, recording a single tackle. In 2021, he totaled a pair of tackles through 2 games.

He joined Mizzou from East Los Angeles College, where he was credited with 4.0 sacks in 2019. Prior to his arrival in the FBS ranks, he was considered the No. 1 JUCO weakside DE by 247Sports.
