Jeremy Banks: It all started Saturday afternoon, when news broke that Jeremy Banks did not travel with Tennessee football to face the South Carolina Gamecocks. The news was already odd, as he never did seem hurt, but he could have gotten hurt in practice, and reports surfaced that he was sick. However, as the Vols were in the midst of arguably the worst defensive performance in history, allowing South Carolina to score touchdowns on nine of their 10 offensive possessions in that game, rumors began to swirl that he was suspended internally. It started on Twitter. By the end, there were two narratives, both of which involved Banks fighting Hendon Hooker. One narrative said it was about Banks stepping on the Power T in the locker room and Hooker confronting him over not the doing push-ups required when a player does that. Another, seemingly more likely narrative, is that they were fighting over NIL money. Reports also surfaced that Joe Milton III got in between them, some going as far as to say that he broke Banks’ jaw. What has the most legs, though, at its root, is that Banks was suspended for fighting Hooker. One final piece of this is that Tennessee football’s defense allegedly quit on the team over Banks being suspended. So how true is all of this? Well, after Monday’s press conference, we can safely say there is some legitimacy to it.

UT Football News: October 10th, 2022 - UT football captain, Jaylen McCollough was arrested and has been charged with felony aggravated assault. September 16th, 2022 - Two Tennessee football players have been dismissed from the team after separate arrests on domestic assault charges, team spokesperson Bill Martin told the Knoxville News Sentinel. Linebacker William Mohan and offensive lineman Savion Herring were both dismissed by Josh Heupel, Martin said Friday. Mohan, who was arrested in South Knoxville and suspended indefinitely, has been permanently off the team since Sept. 5, according to Martin. Herring, who was arrested on a charge of domestic assault this week, was recently dismissed.

Says someone that can't even manage his fantasy football team to a 3rd place finish. Baker Mayfield had a similar but worse (he tried to run from the cops) incident happen before his draft. He still got taken #1 in the draft.

I just checked the tape of that 4th quarter against Bama in last years NC game. Clutch. And I checked the tape on the 2nd half against Ohio State from 3 weeks ago. Clutch. With UGA's beatdown of TCU in the Natty, it could be called a Natty Light. In the early 80's at UGA they used to have dollar pitcher night (as in $1 for a full pitcher) once a week at a place I think it was called the Odyssey. They were serving Natty Light and the hangovers were brutal. Lol.
