Deebo Samuel is one of the main weapons who make beating the San Francisco 49ers a tall order.

The Seattle Seahawks got another dose of that early in the fourth quarter on Saturday. That’s when Samuel, the former South Carolina star caught about a 10-yard pass, and showed off his speed for a 74-yard touchdown, as he got multiple blocks on his path to the end zone. That gave the 49ers a 38-17 lead with 10:51 remaining.

Samuel is up to 32 rushing yards on 3 carries, with a long of 22 yards. He also has 6 catches for 133 yards in the game on 9 targets. Samuel and the 49ers pulled away in the second half with 22 points after they trailed at halftime.

The big play, like Samuel’s touchdown, has fueled the 49ers. With just under 7 minutes remaining, the 49ers had 11 plays of at least 18 yards in the game.
