Alabama basketball hits historic low in blowout loss at Oklahoma
Dawglb must know very little about sports the way he vainly tries slapping at Tennessee. (Seemingly, every sport too! )
He--or she--I'm betting on the latter--shows just how ignorant and classless much of their fanbase is.
Oh! Speaking of classless, congratulations Dawg Nation! Your poster boy, Stetson Flaming Bennett (unusual middle name but it's ok) just got arrested last night for Public Intoxication!
How much of an A-list A-hole do you have to be to get arrested (by Georgia police too!) after just bringing home a national championship??!!
They can wave bye bye to that #1 seed though.
Getting thumped by 30 to the unranked Sooners right now.
GBO
Tennessee is the original “UT.”
Established in 1794 so I’m pretty sure we have seniority over those posers in the wrong shade of Orange.
My prediction:
Tennessee 73
Horns 61
See! I made a comment about censorship and it’s now “awaiting moderation.”
This site is so draconian.
He’s been at UT since 2019 which is hardly a decade.
I’m sure math in the backwater doesn’t work like it does elsewhere but the guy is only 21 so you should still be able to work that out.
Willybob
There’s not enough medication for what you’ve got.
Flat out, SICK.
That bad feeling must've been heartburn...UGA up 45-7 early in the 3rd and it's not even that close.
Georgia could hang 90 on these guys and what's crazy to me is that anyone seriously thought TCU had a legitimate chance to beat the Dawgs.
Dude, I was watching the game--and I'm a Dobbs fan--but this was ABSOLUTELY a fumble.
The arm WAS going forward... but it was moving that way because the defender hit him!
Very clearly a fumble.
Herbie can drop S bombs but we get censored for saying p00p
Tennessee is the best team in the country.
Period. Can’t wait for March.
And April.
Love this guy.
Thanks for everything, and Go Big Orange!
I get the hate from Dawg fans…you’re scared.
Not that we would beat y’all this season; or maybe even next year.
The fear is that Tennessee will resume their place as the team right behind Alabama in the SEC pecking order and will go back to beating Georgia on a regular basis. For those who think this is a ridiculous statement go back and look at the series history between the two teams…
UGA needed the biggest slump in Tennessee football history to take the lead in the series as the Vols led 20-15-2 before UGA won 12 out of the last fifteen games to finally take the lead.
Why can’t you just appreciate that you took advantage of our downturn—as well as Florida being very inconsistent over the last decade—and enjoy your success?
Cuz the Big Orange are coming…
Bama had no business being in the discussion.
If they were going to take a 2-loss team, it should have been Tennessee anyway.
We beat you guys head up and were much better statistically all year against a tougher schedule.
Alabama fans keep pointing to the South Carolina game as justification for their being ranked ahead of us but Bama could easily have lost at least two more games.
Let it go.
This article didn’t age well.
He WAS deserving of going to New York…but so was Hendon Hooker.
Hunker Down you Hairy Dawgs!
Helluva game. Go out and take home another title next week.
Not sure what game you were watching but Tennessee ABSOLUTELY dominated Clemson.
Sure, they had more yards (and significantly more plays with 101-66) but that stat actually underscores how much better the Vols were when you consider our offensive efficiency versus how poorly they did against our defense in the red zone.
And winning by 17 points over a team that won 11 games and their conference championship IS dominance!
GBO! Light ‘em up in 23!!
Well, he does play very well in the biggest games…Tennessee can definitely attest to that.
Odd name though…Stetson Flaming Bennett?
Ok.
Tennessee is the best team in the SEC.
We'll see about that when he lights up your D for 500 yard.
Tennessee would beat Arizona by 20 on a neutral court.
Anyone who watched this game knew the refs absolutely screwed the Vols.
Yeah, ranked in the top 10 for the majority of the season but it’s a $hitshow.
Please.
You can delete #10 from the list.
Travis Hunter followed Prime Time to Colorado. Never really was any doubt about this but the media had to pump some intrigue into the story.
Imagine that.
Barnes definitely threw the guy under the bus. I’m sure he was very frustrated with the game outcome with us having chances late to pull it out—despite possibly the most one sided officiating I’ve ever seen—but he went too far.
That is part of Uro’s game and Barnes knows that.
To all those who have a problem with this or are saying, “Live up to your contract!” I would agree if we were at war, (or even in a heightened military situation) but we’re not.
Our military is well-staffed, and aside from that he signed up thinking he had the option before a change was made.
Sucks, cuz I guarantee you this guy is going to stumble at Auburn.
Tennessee was primed to make him the centerpiece of that defensive backfield.
Best of luck, my dude but you’re going to regret going to Auburn.
You lost 4 games.
If Heupel doesn’t get consideration for losing two games—evidently, the AP thought he deserved it because they just named him the SEC Coach of the Year—then Kelly doesn’t get consideration either.
Outside of Alabama, your best win was Ole Miss (who gacked away four of their last five games after starting 7-0.)
Also, the loss to Tennessee—AT HOME—seems to be constantly forgotten by LSU fans when extolling the teams accompaniments.
You misspelled “Flaming.”
Classy comment, Foots.
And it is a disgrace to the ceremony and award. The guy was clearly the best quarterback in the country until he was injured in the next to last game of the year.
The fact that he wasn’t even invited is ridiculous and petty.
Shame on the folks voting.
If you really think TCU would annihilate Michigan you must be very sheltered.
Or, just a serious Big (giggle) 10 hater.
You guys are going to be in the Citrus Bowl.
Committee won’t take a four loss team in the New Years Six games unless they have managed to win their conference.
Nice year for LSU though…flirted with the playoffs and Coach of the Year as well.
