Stetson Bennett arrested for public intoxication in Dallas, per report
Earlier this past week, well prior to the incident in Dallas, ESPN’s Mel Kiper projected Bennett as a third-round draft pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.
This latest situation involving Stetson Bennett is just one of a few notable events to happen to Georgia since the championship.
On Jan. 15, Georgia sophomore offensive lineman Devin Willock and staff member Chandler LeCroy tragically died in a car accident on the morning following the Bulldogs’ national championship parade in Athens.
One week later, on Monday, Jan. 23, Georgia transfer wide receiver Rodarius “RaRa” Thomas was arrested on a “felony charge of false imprisonment and misdemeanor battery-family violence.” Thomas transferred from Mississippi State less than a month prior to his arrest in Athens, Georgia.
