I thought Justin Herbert was a smart dude with awesome physical tools, but he just wasn't that great of a QB. He seemed to make dumb mistakes and I didn't think he would pan out. I'll be rooting for him, no doubt.

I think Connor hit the nail on the head by identifying the O-line as the key factor. Leary has the physical/mental talent, and UK has plenty of very good skill position players, but the O-line must step up. We're off to a good start in the transfer portal on that front with Tanner Bowles and Marques Cox.
The Wheeler situation is starting to remind me of the Saul Smith days. For the love of God, bring the kid off the bench and hand the keys to Cason 100%. Surround him with shooters and put Oscar in the middle. Any casual fan sees this solution.

I really think the Ole Miss vs UK game will be a very good one. UK will definitely need to limit Ole Miss's run game and force Dart to make good throws. Like every game, the turnover battle will be key. Very good for UK that C-Rod will be back to give our run game a boost.
