Ravens won't trade up. They'll get more capital in a sign and trade for Lamar and rework that scheme, which will take at least a year+. Or just keep Lamar.
Detroit and Seattle hope you're right with their 2nd pick.
It has nothing to do with him being best overall. It's just when he'll be available for teams that want him. He is a Josh Allen prototype, and that is where the game is now. You won't find those kinds of guys late anymore because that is what every team wants. He can run, has a huge frame, can make check down windows out of nothing (plenty of tape on that this year, which he will have to do on bad NFL teams drafting early), has a cannon of an arm, and can drop downfield dimes. NFL scouts saw that last year when scouting Wan'dale Robinson. This year he played through a bad shoulder and Lisfranc. And when you take 2 steps back and a safety is already in the backfield, there isn't much you can do.
Because it's not like all those people can't make that red tape go away for a basketball PRACTICE facility.
So the Title IX comment means what? That there would need to be requisite women's facilities upgrades? They're already upgrading Nutter for the track teams, which is deserved based on the olympiads we're cranking out. AND football has had to share for what 30 years? All Mitch has to say is YES, we'll make the new practice facility happen, but the timeline is unknown. The Kyle Tucker article feels like the tip of the iceberg.
Scared to run between the tackles, so isn't going to be RB1 in any P5 conference, including the PAC-12. He'll do just fine out there, and thanks for the commitment. When given the opportunity to step up, he didn't do the work.
That's like how Cal cherry picks being in the top of 3pt shooting percentage, but being in the 300s in 3pt volume.
UK Football doesn't hang the equivalent of NIT banners.
No UK fans are deflecting from how bad this season has been, let alone the downward trajectory of Cal.
If you don't think tradition and that a championship culture matters to a program every season, then you aren't a Tide fan.
No heart, but he'll sell plenty of NIL jerseys out there. LOL at the kind of transfers that Deion is getting.
That's because Austin is pretty entitled. Cats Fan in the Ville is right from above. Cal will stick around at least until next year so he can say I told you so to validate his ego. He'll continue to dig in and give the same placating answers all while playing his same style of being amongst the lowest 3pt volume in the country. Meanwhile he'll condescend the fans about cherry picked stats about a high 3pt shooting percentage.
UK fans knew what you meant. NIL definitely leveling the playing field.
For some programs, getting to the top IS the hard part.
Squarely on Cal. The game has changed and it's not just the SEC that's changed with it.
This right here. It also doesn't help that his whole pitch is getting guys paid/to the league is now diminished due to NIL. Not enough attention around losing John Robic for Xs and Os.
It's really Cal's arrogance and ego. He bemoans bad shooting and bad free throws but continues to run dribble drive kick outs instead of screens and ghost screen plays to open up shooters. Sure, players need to also hit open shots, but don't say 'you can blame me' and then keep digging in. That arrogance and ego rubs off on the players instead of when he used to be hungry and a motivator.
Fans have short memories. Were pretty relevant in 2020 but the tournament was cancelled. Last year we boat raced the National champs at their gym, but had ankle and lisfranc injuries to our top guards at the worst time, and couldn't get back to championship form.
More like McVey asking his boy to save him the red tape.
Exactly! That's like moving to a golf course and complaining about all the golf balls hitting your house.
Cason Wallace just needs to be on the floor at 1 or 2. He has that SGA tenacity.
Those PAC12 teams around 140 and 100 in the NET rankings more difficult that Memphis?
