Out of Fairfield (Alabama) Prep, Albert had 22 scholarship offers. He was rated 4-stars, the No. 17 Alabama product, No. 20 ATH and No. 384 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2022 on the 247Sports Composite.
Albert committed to Auburn on Aug. 4, 2021. In December, however, he visited Kentucky and flipped to the Wildcats during the Early Signing Period.
Albert made 10 appearances for the Wildcats this season, missing the contests against Miami (Ohio), Florida and Northern Illinois. Albert totaled 3 tackles on the year. He recorded his first tackle for loss in the Music City Bowl against Iowa.
Bigger NIL money elsewhere I assume.
It’s a shame seeing that NIL value on the stat sheet. This is just minor league pro ball at this point.
