Maybe they finally paid off Pruitt's recruiting shenanigans from his last stint there and are gearing up for the next batch if he does land back at Bama as DC.
The grass ain't always greener. Going from Washington to Bama puts a massive spotlight on him. Having to start with a new QB in your first year under Saban would be terrible. Bama went 10-2 this year with 2 respectable losses. They could have easily lost 2 more. For the same amount of money (or even if it was a little more), just stay where you are and don't have all that pressure. Plus you stay in a weaker conference and a few losses won't cost you your job
My opinion is a valid as yours Bamatime. It looks like you've planted your flag on graduation and NC means you can claim said player. That's fine if that's your opinion. Doesn't make it right. Doesn't make it wrong. Now, you can go sit your self righteous self down. Also, had he not got shunned to the bench, Bama would have won a NC the following year. He was always better than Tua. I've had fun aggravating the absolute p!$$ out of you all day. Did you have a good time?
You are no different than Ohio State fans claiming Burrow. No difference. Make whatever argument you want about graduation and NC, but you're the same. I'd like to hear your stance on who claims who when they transfer but leave prior to graduation. Go ahead. I'll wait. Bama tossed him to the side and when it looked like Tua was the second coming of Chr!$t. He got the hint and left.
Claiming folks like you claim titles. It’s cool though. You do you homie. Makes Bama fans look somewhat silly to other fan bases because of this whole thing. It’s just as ridiculous hearing it on ESPN.
What about now while he is just a stain to college football and doesn’t have a home? Do you claim him now? I’m not seeing anybody claiming Ruggs here lately either.
This is my point. Right here. Hurts finished out at Oklahoma. Kamara finished out at TN. Why claim one but not the other?
So does TN get to claim Henry To'o To'o (not that we want to)? He improved his skills at TN enough that Bama wanted to get him through the portal. He won as many National Championships at Bama as he did TN. Does Bama claim Jeremy Pruitt? He coached in that state and at Bama more than he did any other place. Do you claim him as the defensive coordinator that helped win a NC but don't claim the cheating coach when he was at UT? Do you claim Alvin Kamara? What is the criteria? I'm legit curious. Can't have it both ways.
I still can't believe Levis and Richardson are projected to go first round. Somebody is going to get fired this year. Normally in the NFL if you draft a QB in round 1 then they are starting that rookie year. Nobody will convince me those 2 QBs are NFL ready. Levis would be a good 3rd-4th round get and Richardson maybe 5th or 6th
It’s crazy right. Maybe one day TN basketball will reach Georgia basketball levels. That will show them
I'd have to go with Mahomes on this one. I'd like to see Hurts win this one but Mahomes is near the top of every stat category for a QB. If you're going to put Jefferson on this list then you have to seriously consider putting Travis Kelce up here as well.
If this is how this is going to go, Seattle and Carolina are going to have a bad time. Rchardson needs a lot of coaching up and mentorship to get to that level. Carolina can offer him nothing but a fast track to unemployment. I don't see why Seattle thinks they need a QB in the first round because Geno Smith played really well this year. Wasted pick if that is the route they take IMO.
Bringing in Pruitt would be a massive mistake. Not that he's not a good DC, but that's the fastest way to put your program under a microscope right now. Kingsbury wouldn't be a terrible option but I think he'd rather have a HC job.
Rick Barnes is to TN basketball as Mark Richt was to GA football.
Yet again. A copy and paste from another post. I swear you get dumber by the day.
Agreed. Richardson should be compared to Milton in my opinion, not Hooker. Both guys have a cannon for an arm but can be wildly inaccurate. Somebody else that never really impressed me was Boutte with LSU. I think the talent is there, but he never just showed out to deserve a first round pick. Jalen Carter should go first since the Bears got the first pick. Anderson is good but doesn't have the size or explosiveness on the edge like a Myles Garrett or Von Miller. Still a safe top 5 pick but Carter is the safer bet here.
Nope. But he's a 3 star so I guess the only thing I can say is welcome to Rocky Top.
I'm glad BY is gone. That guy is a stud. Bama could have easily went 8-4 without him this year. Game changer. Bama could definitely stumble this year if they aren't very careful. They are use to losing a lot of talent but I don't see the talented depth that Saban of years past has had. What mentors or leaders are you going to have on defense? Offense? Don't confuse this by thinking I am saying that Bama won't still be good. Because they will be. But at what level?
Somehow me and TDOW just became friends. This is great....and accurate.
2nd rate?? Don't you dare give SDS that much credit.
Will Levis does not to be a first round pick. He needs to get behind an older QB to learn and go from there. Maybe a 5th round or later pick to Minnesota or even Kansas City. I don't see him benefiting Indianapolis at all. Surprised to not see Hyatt on this list but AR15 is here to the Ravens. Overall, most of these guys make sense.
Will Levis shouldn't be in the top half of this list. I know there are some NFL teams that are really needing a QB but this guy isn't it. Brock Purdy was Mr. Irrelevant and he's playing for the NFC championship this weekend with San Francisco. Will Levis is not first round talent. At least he didn't show it this past season.
Dude is breathing proof that those Fauci Ouchie's aren't good for the overall population. That being said, I really hope he is first in line for every booster shot they offer.
Not from Memphis originally. Not even close. Most of this place is a dump. Probably due to to it's majority population. I'll let you figure that out. You'll see quickly why this place is so low in education and so high in crime. Go ahead. Look it up. I don't agree with the Memphis politics. I do agree with the their Stay Strapped or Get Clapped policy though. It's a good one. Gotta stay safe in these streets Willyboob. There is no way this person is an actual person that can function in society. Willyboob is proof of what happens during a failed @b0rti0n. Tragic. Trojan owes somebody an apology.
You're right. It's not too late to change. Come on over here to Memphis and catch yourself a case of super late term @b0rti0n driving down the highway. Don't worry, we won't consider it murder. Just an @b0rti0n. Also, literally just you being triggered. That word is terrible. Have a blessed day
Again WillyBoob, ZERO people have an issue with you catching a case of the Damar Hamlin within your own home. In fact, it's probably encouraged. Do us a favor, go get another booster to speed up this process. We'd greatly appreciate it. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I do not care about most people on this planet.
Comparing Willyboob to donkey $hit is actually offensive to donkeys. They are now, how Willyboob would say, triggered.
Also Willyboob - JE$$$$$US ISN’T REAL. I’VE SAID MANY TIMES THAT YOU HAVE TO USE THE LANGUAGE OF RET@RDS AND SIMPLETONS TO MAKE YOUR POINT. Pulled straight from one of his well worded, meaningful posts. It's obvious this dude isn't getting into heaven either with him flat out saying Je$u$ isn't real. Multiple times at that. Crazy.
Seeing that they put a politician in charge I feel like he will go with whichever option guarantees that the government gets their slice of the pie. I have ZERO faith that this goes well. Having a player at 18 years old making more than a lot of the coaching staff will lead to significant problems at some schools.
Matthew 23: 27-28 27 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. 28 In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.
