He seems to be getting some bad advice from people in his corner. The adults behind him are really putting his career at risk by pushing this as far as they have. Regardless of who may be at fault here, the kid will be viewed as damaged goods in the eyes of many programs at this point.
The other 22 members of the recruiting class seem to be just fine with their arrangement. Whatever arrangement a player has with a collective or 3rd party NIL deal has nothing to do with Napier or the university. It still surprises me that we are now moving into season 3 of the NIL era and people who follow the sport closely still don’t understand how NIL works.

That is a really uninformed way of looking at it. 5 players from Mullen’s bump class never made it to the fall. All his classes were just smoke & mirrors. Loaded with misfits & non qualifiers. This has been discussed and acknowledged hundreds of times. And the talent avg of this class is the highest it’s been in 13 years. None of Mullen’s come anywhere close to what Napier just signed.
Really??? One individual with an issue and it defines the whole class? Let’s create a list of coaches who bat 1.000 with their classes. There aren’t any.

I think we’ll be ok. If anything, we dodged a locker room problem. It’s just unfortunate that it was played out publicly. And Napier had nothing to do with any of it.

A solid player and a fine young man. Even though he was passed up on the depth chart he didn’t quit on the team mid-season (like a few others). USF is getting a good one. Hope he stays healthy and blows up this year.

Billy had NOTHING to do with that drama. In fact, the ONLY reason this class was able to stay intact (sans Rashada) was because of CBN.
I’ll say this. He is the only coach of the last 4, that could weather this BS storm.
After CC, the next 2-9 players are a jumbled bunch, close in skill level, but all bring a little something different of value. I think TG has just figured out the right line up and rotations at this point, to put it all together.
Incredible run. And SBlll deserves all the props coming his way. But anyone trying to make the argument that anyone other than Herschel is the greatest player in UGA history (as some have), is an idiot. And Connor almost went there.

The TD that was negated, followed by the fumble played a HUGE part in the outcome. It was an incredible momentum shift that took UM out of the game in the 1st half.
I’m not a UM apologist, and very far from it … but to suggest the refs were biased and favored UM is fake news nonsense. Just stop.

Many of the Mullen guys just don’t understand the discipline part. But it is Strange that the OL players after being terrible the last 2 years, then flourished under Sale & Stapleton, and now want to leave.
With the open schollys we have left this will be a 70% turnover on the roster in less than 14 months. Incredible. And Also, by design. It should also be noted that none , were any of the guys BN brought in.
Napier hasn’t done anything that he hasn’t already said he was going to do. He has been very transparent since the beginning that a rebuild was necessary and …”there will be some painful moments as we move forward and there will be times many of you won’t like me”.
It’s just amazing that so many can’t seem to differentiate the term “rebuild” from “redecorate”. We had 2 redecorators before and it did not work.

I don’t think “suffers” is an accurate term in this case. This was more on UF’s end than the recruit.
