Ryland Goede, former Georgia TE, announces SEC transfer destination
Ryland Goede, a former Georgia tight end and 2-time National Champion, announced in mid January that he would be entering the transfer portal as a Grad transfer. On Monday, he announced that he and his fiance, Alexa Fortin, will be staying in the SEC and transferring to Mississippi State. Fortin is a volleyball player for the Bulldogs.
As for Goede, the former Bulldog turned Bulldog was a reserve option at tight end across his 4 years in Athens. He has not recorded any receiving stats for Georgia and missed the entirety of his sophomore season after having shoulder surgery.
