The way our defense played, I'm not upset hearing about any defensive coach leaving.

.....but I would like to add that I hope the rest of the SEC wants us here. We're national contenders year after year in other sports....baseball, track, and basketball is currently doing well. But, I understand...football is king.

Arkansas will be a middle of the pack team in this league most seasons except for a good year now and then. It's been this way ever since we joined.

As an Arkansas fan, I wouldn't think of any move to any SEC team as a drop. I hate to say it but, what have we really done....consistently..for a while now.

Exactly right AU T. Those in the know at ARK at the end of Petrino's tenure will tell you thew hogs were in a for a drop off. Defensive recruiting was lacking. That's been Bobby's problem everywhere he's gone. Good offenses but when the recruits he inherited are gone, his defenses suck. Ever wonder why he's never been anywhere more than a few years?

There were plenty of bad calls to go around. Really tired of hearing about the goal line catch that was reversed. A lot of articles I've read want to insinuate that cost Mich the game. Oh puleeze...TCU may have prevented other Mich scores had the officials decided to call some holding penalties. Same with the OH ST game. All teams in all games had bad calls.

That's twice now you've mentioned "must be more to the story". Read the other comments. All except a couple players were not starters and were not going to start next year. I think you're trying to make a big deal where there's not one.

Kansas was obviously holding all night. Peewee league refs would have thrown flags. Glad hogs won but geez, why can't they get any decent refs.

I'm still pissed about the horribly botched fumble call. The game was basically over. Should have never went to OT.

Along with the portal and NIL, throw in officiating that determines the outcome of games as reasons I've about lost interest in college football.

Well, the game was wrapped up, but then the officials decided there was a fumble where there wasn't one, even after reviewing it. Not to mention the horribly obvious holding by Kansas all night. The refs are trying their best to make KU the liberty bowl champs.

From what I've watched, Kansas mistakes are what's given Arkansas it's nice lead. I hope the hogs defense can pick it up a bit.

At Arkansas it seems he got comfy and didn't quite put out the effort in his last season or two. I'm withholding judgement and waiting to see what's going on there 3 or 4 years from now.
