Glad you are such a star gazer. Let me help you understand it, those rating are someone’s opinion on a high school player. It isn’t some guarantee of success on the field!
A lot of the rankings are dependent on which camps a player attends, or doesn’t attend. Everybody can’t be a 5 star, there are a bunch of 3 star or lower players on NFL rosters right now.
Just a little perspective for you, hope it helped you understand it a little better.

You would certainly hope so. Being realistic, they are both taking a huge risk, the potential loss of multi millions if they were to be severely injured.
I would love for Jalen Hyatt to play in the Orange Bowl, but I don’t blame him for not risking life changing money as a potential 1st round pick. If most were honest and if was your son, you would probably feel differently, I certainly would.
It is good to see. However the possibility of injury is always there. A severe injury could cost either one of them multiple millions of dollars. It’s something that has to be considered. You are risking life changing money in a meaningless bowl, which all of them outside the playoffs have become.
