Oklahoma’s 2023 Big 12 schedule has been released.

The slate features games against 3 of the Big 12’s newcomers in 2023. The Sooners will face Cincinnati and BYU on the road and will host UCF in Norman.

The schedule also includes a rare week-night game in Norman. Oklahoma will host TCU on Friday, Nov. 24 to end the regular season. That game will be played on the day after Thanksgiving.

Notably, Oklahoma will be playing rival Oklahoma State on the road this season. This will be the final Bedlam meeting for the foreseeable future in Stillwater. Oklahoma State last defeated OU in an instant-classic in Stillwater in 2021. This year’s meeting is scheduled for Nov. 4.

Oklahoma’s bye week is slated for Oct. 14, which is 1 week after it will face Texas at the Cotton Bowl. OU’s first-ever meeting against UCF will take place the following week.

Oklahoma’s trip to Provo comes on Nov. 11. The Sooners have never beaten BYU before, with the Cougars taking both of the previous matchups. The last meeting between these teams came in Arlington, Texas, in 2009.

The Sooners are 2-0 all-time against Cincinnati. The 2 programs played a home-and-home in 2008-10, with OU winning both matchups.
