I agree the hate is over the top. That said these same people thought Zach Wilson was going to be amazing. They have a habit of focusing on everything except what happened on the field. Also Rogers was drafted 24th.
NOOOOOOOO...Zach Wilson, remember Kyle Boller, Jake Locker, Brady Quinn, Mark Sanchez, Blaine Gabbert, Mitchell Trubisky...off the top of my head. Levis can play...I'd think of him as more of a 3rd/4th round guy that might develop into a quality starter but could at least be a decent backup.
Dude saw Iamaleava up close in December and made a business decision.
What percentage of high school football players have offer list that include multiple SEC, big10, Pac12 and ACC teams. Less than 2%, less than 1. That probably counts as elite.
I'll admit I criticized the Mike White hire but 11-3 looks good. The schedule has been pretty soft (SOS 307) AU is the first ranked team they've played all year. So maybe pump the brakes a bit, but heck for a while ga hasn't been able to beat those teams consistently. That said I know a couple of kids he and his staff are recruiting, and they like him. Also UF is 7-7.
that hit reminds me of that 9 year old that had a heart attack after getting hit in the chest with a baseball. Hit just hard enough at just the right spot that it screwed up his heart's rhythm. Took a few steps down the first base line and collapse. He survived hopefully this guy does as well.
This is why I have no problem with opt outs. Bowl games are a good time to turn the page and give kids that going to be on the field next year some live action. Build on this in the spring and be ready to go in September.
“Kansas, led by star QB Jalon Daniels, put a few scores on the board to make things slightly interesting late”….it went to triple OT. Someone wrote this story early.
like most places that close to the coast in the Pacific Northwest...Corvallis isn't that cold and doesn't get very much snow. Winter weather in that area is similar to Atlanta temperature wise.
Would rather see the young kids play and start getting ready for next year. Also Tennessee is deep at receiver it will be ok.
Good for him. Enjoyed watching him play and i figured the Vandy game was the last time I would see him.
Hasn't been healthy most of the year, this is the right choice. Wouldn't be upset if Hyatt sat out as well. Let's get a look at next year's group.
I’ve seen Bryce at the last couple Atl Hawks games. I think he’s ready to move on.
OSU is the team that doesn't deserve to be there. Who did they beat...a PSU team that lost to its two best opponents and then only played one other team with an offense ranked above 70th. And a Notre Dame team people keep propping up that lost to Marshall (8-4 3rd in the Sun Belt east) and Standford (3-9). That said TCU would be the brakes off UM or OSU because OSU can stop anyone and UM still can't pass consistently.
4 is too many...12 will be worse. It's not like we are currently getting 3 great playoff games every year.
I don't understand the concern with jr's and sr's who are going pro opting out of a bowl game...who cares you get a glimpse of the next year with the next guy playing. Also if you are a 10/11/12 seed is it really keeping someone from opting out? All of it's more wear on your body before you try to get yourself ready to go pro.
Cincy is easily the best of those jobs and he played baseball in cincy for bit. I would say the downside is living in Ohio but that’s still a big step up from Mississippi.
I don’t know how well Tyson runs but that o line is so bad starting Emory made sense. They lost a lot of talent across the offense the last couple of years. I don’t know how many qbs would want that job.
They do have a tendency to go long stretches without running the ball. Especially considering that Richardson is not the most consistent, honestly his receivers and TE's don't help a lot. He's Tebow without Harvin, Hernadez and NFL caliber receivers on the outside. What's Urban up to these days?
Vols Clemsoned that game....but hey the Atlanta Hawks won, so i'm good.
hopefully things change and they are ready to go. Also hopefully Tennessee is locked in, plays a good game and gets out of there healthy and with a win.
Not having 3 or 4 bone head play calls a game helps too.
Who cares that game is over. It says nothing about what would happen in a rematch. I seem to remember Bama rolling in the SEC Championship game last year but the lost the rematch.
It will be interesting to see if Dj actually shows up on campus. Wouldn't be surprised if he's in the G league next year.
Wonder what Calipari thinks about this? That athletic department holiday party might be a bit awkward…but seriously UK has had a lot of injuries and suspensions to deal with. They are going to develop guys and have really good seasons every two or three years and some years that don’t look as good. Unless Stoop decides to run off to another job this offseason.
I know this is posted on the wrong page but to your point...They were playing Rutgers...down at half is not ok.
UCLA is better than Clemson...PSU and Illinois are both too high.
my bad saw the date wrong it was from today.
I just found out about that because you posted here. The Tennessean story about it is from yesterday so more than 6 hours.
This guys aren’t hurting for cash. But speaking of happy rich guys Hugh Freeze isn’t going anywhere either.
