Dwight McGlothern turned in a key performance for Arkansas during the 2022 season after transferring from LSU. Now, he’s solidified his plans for 2023.

Wednesday evening, McGlothern confirmed on social media that he’ll be back for another season with the Razorbacks. He appeared in all 13 games for Arkansas this season and led the team in interceptions.

“I want to thank God for allowing me to be able to play the game that I love… I am thankful for Arkansas coaching staff, fans, and my teammates for accepting me into this program,” wrote McGlothern. “With that being said, after talks with my family, I have decided to return to the University of Arkansas for one more year!”

During the 2022 season, McGlothern led the Razorbacks with 4 interceptions and finished second on the team with 10 pass breakups. He was also 1 of 4 Arkansas defenders to force at least 2 fumbles during the season and finished with 52 total tackles.

His return will be a boost on the defensive side of the ball as Arkansas looks to improve on its 7-6 record during the 2023 season.
