Young leaves Mizzou after 3 seasons. He made 28 appearances, logging 66 carries for 333 yards and a touchdown along with 19 catches for 103 yards and a TD. Young has not used a redshirt in his career so far. With the NCAA not counting 2020 against eligibility, Young can play 2 more full seasons.
Over 3 seasons, Young’s most productive year was 2021 when he had 37 carries for 162 yards and a touchdown along with 11 catches for 64 yards and a TD. This past season, Young played in 9 games, recording 19 carries for 93 yards and 8 catches for 39 yards.
Young’s last carries with Mizzou came when the Tigers played in Knoxville, Tennessee, his hometown, on Nov. 12. Young had 3 carries for 21 yards and 2 catches for 10 yards against the Tennessee Volunteers in Neyland Stadium.
Missouri fans should thank Young for tremendous effort and toughness, and yards. Missouri also happened to get the division 2 rushing champ in Schrader and his tough act to follow was a close contest with Young. Blessings to his football future
Only makes sense, I could see Schrader losing the starting job to a portal 5 star but not to anyone already on the team. Good luck Elijah hope you have a great year at WK.
You don’t think Tavorus could take the starting role? The guy showed incredible upside this season in minimal snaps…he’s dang fast. Honestly would be happy with those two splitting snaps.
Not convinced Drink cant just reach into the portal and find yet another starting RB.
Good luck Elijah with the Hilltoppers.
Wish he had stayed, he’s a good one.
