Last person on earth that could do that.
RealCo, Sen Rubio was a 93 graduate of UF. That is some good competition the kid is playing against. Miami Northwestern is a Mecca of HS football in Miami and Cardinal Gibbons is really good at producing talent.
Doc, that left me in amazement. Happy Sunday!
Gator lake, I’m very interested to hear the solution you would put into place. Please give the coaches and amounts that would be allocated to the coaches and lengths of contracts. As withany business model the exit strategy and measure of beta. The floor is open, sir.
Humpy, he’s making headway and if he stays this course he can make waves in the conference. But, Bama is a good team.
Yes you did. But y’all had a great crowd at the game last night. Great game and congrats on the win
Phil, if you watched the game last night it showed that Golden has our guys playing pretty well. TAM is a solid team and we took them to the wire.
Upstate, I just do not see our collective making that kind of offer. Our collective is set up as a tiered donor program. I’m not sure how they could account that much of the proceeds to one particular high school player.
AFan, yes that is correct. Most are forgetting something integral to a program. The coaches, especially position coaches will be placed in an awkward situation.
Booches, I understand where you are coming from. However, what’s not being said is that the Gator Collective pulled the deal in early December. Now in January we have this kids people putting out there something totally egregious.
StL, Rashada’s deal was voided by the Gator collective in early December. Yet here we are.
BS, it’s coming to every university whether public or private. Collectives do not stand a chance.
Matt, this has been going on for decades at the D1 level. However, just not at these types of numbers we are seeing today. There are just a few differences which add up to the SHEET storm we now have. 1) HS kids can now have a representative (Agent) openly shop their services 2) Social media and writers looking for clicks on the internet. See Matt Hayes. 3) LAWYERS and shady wanna be lawyers hanging around HS kids instead of college stadiums for the soon to be Juniors &Seniors 4) Parents looking for the Tiger Woods benefits Everyone is making money off of this situation. Rashada is now broken goods. No matter where he goes every player, coach and potential player will be wondering why he is somehow worth 13 mm. Now, here’s the really big problem. How does his teammates trust him? This will tear any team apart from the inside/out. How do the coaches trust a 17-18 year old kid that has never played a down of upper level football and not developed properly physically. Mentally already told he has nothing to prove because he’s just that much better. The gigantic circus has just began and will send programs that have spent decades building a culture or brand into a tailspin.
Good riddance to the traveling circus. I wish him luck but Gainesville doesn’t seem to be the best place for him.
Respect to MSU’s program, fans and coaches. Long live the Pirate’s memory.
Hopefully he regains his form. His knee injury really hampered him. Great guy with a bright future off the field.
The NIL and portal have changed the way college football will be recruited and how high school players will make their decisions. How Napier chooses to emphasize either of these will determine our return to playing for titles. After 2023 we should know his direction and his timetable. I donated more to the collective and purchased more season tickets. I respect CBN in that he’s doing this his way and not giving in to some of the blowhards in the boosters.
CBN is doing the right thing in the portal. Our best players on offense is Etienne and Johnson. We need as many road graters up front as possible. Unless we pull a quarterback out of the portal that is accurate or Miller turns the curve we are a run dominant offense.
Corchi, if you could cry a little more forcefully it might sway some people to feel sorry for you here. I’d try the Vols first.
Mr professor, you forgot the leap years in your post.
