Zach , I don’t think, ever meant to play at Auburn. The outside gossip claims his shoulder injury was diagnosed as 90% needed surgery. Why not transfer to the place that is known for the best surgeon in the world when it comes to sports related injuries. His shoulder got the surgery it needed and he’s good to go. The best money could buy all at a cost of free and done by the best. Nice sit for a year. He can’t be scared of a QB race with what’s on the roster now. Good luck and Auburn says “ you welcome”

Don’t care what you call me, just call me. I’m sure after next year’s recruiting cycle when Freeze gets more than his fair share of the highly touted boys, the portal won’t be so important. No way he puts a competitive team to play this fall without the portal. Like anyone worth their salt, you accomplish the job you’re hired to do with the resources available.

Freeze is turning years of rebuilding into months. Putting the medication right on the years of hurt. Really a unbelievable job. Got the feeling another big time player is right around the corner.

I always look at what other schools have offered. His list is pretty impressive.

Most of the high schoolers playing in these all star hype games end up at D-1 programs. Look at the list of offers this kid had, I think that puts him in a elite category. Nice get Auburn and thanks to Hugh Freeze. You have started the train towards being a contender in just a few weeks. Working that portal pretty darn well too!

Purdue needs to pass if they get a bowl game and it’s against the SEC. Auburn beats them by 40 something a few years back. Not worth looking up but I’m thinking another SEC team hung 40 on them in the last 10 years.

Lane will never get the Bama job the way he gambles. Don’t care if you have the talent that Bama has. You don’t put your defense in that kind of predicament. I was hoping that Lane was coming to Auburn but now I’m relieved. Auburn got the best coach that coached at Ole Miss. Lane looks like he is going to self destruct his career and the Rebs chances of any real success.

Wouldn’t surprise me if he has a WR that he has a connection with that might follow him to the plains.

Another quality ready to play with experience player. Plugging up the deficiencies in the system left by Gus. Auburn fans should be pleased with what has happened so far with Freeze. A QB and a couple of LB’s and we should be able to hold our own. Then with a couple of recruiting cycles under our belt, be back in contention.

I posted earlier on the subject of Napier. Just for the record. Napier was never offered or never ask to interview for the Auburn job. That’s a fact. He has somewhat hinted he did but it’s a dog faced lie.

I’ve posted this many many times and I know it’s the truth. Billy Napier was never offered the Auburn job. He didn’t interview! His name was on the list the committee had and someone from the Napier camp called a committee member but that’s as far as it went. Napier or anyone else that claims he was offered or interviewed is just a liar. Case closed.

Building at a position that needs help. Fatigue was a factor in the 4th quarter all year, cost us. Better find some LB’s, looks slim to me.

Auburn if you count the portal which I think a couple of services do will end up about 15. There is two five stars which I hope have Auburn on radar. Get them , it will be the road to recovery in record time. Freeze and staff would have pull a miracle.
